Licences come in various 'sizes' according to the number of machines you wish to simultaneously run the software on, either stand-alone or on a network.

Single User and Approval packs run on just one machine and require the CD to be in the drive all the time (despite the fact that the software gets installed on your hard drive). 'Higher' licences, e.g. 5-user, can be installed and run on up to 5 stand-alone or networked machines. Primary and Secondary Site Licences allow simultaneous use on unlimited networked or stand-alone machines on a single site.

If your licence doesn't cover enough machines or you want the software to run without the CD, it's easy to upgrade for the price difference between your current licence and the new one (proof of purchase may be required). The minium upgrade charge is £30 ex VAT.

With Primary or Secondary VLE Licences you get not just the standard Windows Network version but also the VLE (Mac or Windows) SCORM-enabled version PLUS a free Community Licence so pupils can access the software from home via your school's VLE 'gateway' PLUS a free Windows Home Edition which you can lend to pupils who don't yet have home internet access.
